The ESEE KNIVES ESEE-3 is the perfect EDC . It has a 1/8" thick blade with a corrosive resistant black finish and sports the ESEE logo. The ESEE-3 has lined Micarta handles over a full tang and a glass breaker pommel with a lanyard hole. It also comes with the ESEE-20SS Sheath System (see below), sheath instruction sheet, and ESEE Survival Business Card. Available in plain or partially serrated blade.

The partially serrated ESEE-3 features five equally spaced aggressive serrations that can be re-sharpened with a 3/8" diameter hone. These serrations are extremely efficient and easily cut through canvas, seat belts or other flexible materials.

Note: ESEE KNIVES are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE Knives suggests using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-CLOTH.

ESEE-3 knives with the MB suffix include the ESEE-20SS Sheath System. The system includes the ESEE-40CB Molded Sheath, the ESEE-42MB MOLLE BackPlate, and the ESEE-41BC Boot Clip.
The ESEE-3 Sheath System was designed by Randall Adventure Training and field tested during its development phase. This unique system allows the user to carry the ESEE-3 knife securely on a MOLLE platform in standard or inverted mode. The knife can also be carried concealed inside the waist band by removing the molded sheath from the MOLLE back and attaching the included boot clip. The molded sheath is also designed to attach to a standard Blade-Tech Tek-Lock or MOLLE Lok for additional vertical and horizontal carry options.
The ESEE-3 knife is held in place by a friction fit in the molded sheath. The knife is easily removed by gripping the knife handle with the fingers, then pushing the thumb against the sheath. When used with the MOLLE back, the elastic butt cover and Velcro retention strap add additional security measures for jumping from aircraft or other extreme activities that may cause the knife to come loose from the sheath. The sheath system is fully ambidextrous in any carry mode. It can also be belt carried, drop-leg carried, or lashed. The lashing holes also facilitate storing a length of 550 cord by wrapping around the sheath and through the holes.
A lot of thought went into this design, thus creating a compact package capable of survival uses, as well as military, law enforcement, and rescue duty. The sheath screws are made from brass, no metal snaps are used since they have a tendency to jam with dirt and grime, and the ballistic nylon will take just about anything you throw at it.
