This is the first large knife for ESEE KNIVES and quite possibly the finest balance and fit they have designed. The RAT Cutlery RC-6 has a .188" thick drop point blade with a full flat grind, a corrosive resistant black finish and sports the Rat Cutlery logo. The RC-6 has removable lined Micarta handles over a full tang and a rounded pommel with a lanyard hole. It comes with a coyote brown molded sheath and MOLLE locks and a RAT Survival Business Card (see below).

At the present time the RC-6 is not available with a jump-proof MOLLE back. However, the sheath can be attached to gear by lashing through the sheath holes or using the supplied MOLLE locks. Sheath Instruction sheet here.

Note: ESEE knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE KNIVES suggests using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-CLOTH.
