 COLOSSUS Versipack

 

For those who want or need something larger than their Jumbo™, Maxpedition now offers the COLOSSUS™ Versipack™, a bold new, no-holds-barred approach to Maxpedition’s battlefield-proven shoulder sling concept.

 

Large yet manageable, the Maxpedition COLOSSUS™ Versipack has main and secondary compartments each filled to the gills with internal pockets and dividers. The frontal compartment features an additional lower zipper opening to access items at the bottom. Beaucoup attachment points line both exterior sides while rear and back sleeve compartments both contain 7” x 8” loop fields for CCW accessories (available below) allowing users to carry a handgun or three. The back compartment can also accommodate a 50 oz. hydration reservoir. The COLOSSUS™ is bells and whistles galore, and designed for those who want a myriad of value added features and expandability. Use it as a grab-and-go bail out bag, mini range bag, or for everyday carry.

 

Due to its complexity and labor-intensive nature, the Maxpedition COLOSSUS™ is a “Special Project” which will be produced only on a limited basis.  Please contact us for availability of colors not in stock.  We are happy to special order.

 

When preparing your Maxpedition Colossus Versipack as an emergency go-bag, don't forget the Mountain House freeze dried food pouches.  Mountain House pouches fit snugly into the Colossus.  Heat water and add directly to the Mountain House pouch for a delicious and satisfying meal under any circumstances.  Go to Needful Things for fire starter and other necessities.

Add the optional Maxpedition Dual Mag Retention Insert :

The Maxpedition Dual Mag Retention Insert attaches onto the loop field present in the CCW compartment of a variety of Maxpedition packs. Two retention loops of 2” wide elastic each hold up to two single stack .45 mags or a double stacked mag. The loops works just as well with multitools, flashlights, batons, pepper spray, etc.
