BARONG MACHETE

The Barong, with its unique leaf shaped blade, is common throughout all of Southeast Asia. Very often it is used for utilitarian purposes to clear jungles or as an agricultural tool, but it is also known as a savagely effective weapon of warfare.

The Cold Steel Barong Machete 12 has a 12inch blade made of 1055 Carbon Steel with a tough spring temper and surfaced with a black, baked-on anti-rust finish. The handles are of tough Polypropylene: designed to provide a comfortable secure grip, rugged enough to resist chipping, cracking or breaking. The Cold Steel Barong Machete has an overall length of 17 5/8 inches, and comes complete with a Cordura Sheath.
