Maxpedition
M-2 Waistpack
The Maxpedition M-2 Waistpack
(#0308) is Maxpedition’s smallest modular pocket, offering even lower
profile than the best-selling M-1. The front snap compartment will fit a
cell phone, flashlight, multi-tool, mini kit or other gear and has pen
slots on each side for writing utensils or sunglasses. The main
compartment has three small pack cloth subdividers and is the right size
for GPS, small radio, digital camera, first aid kit, pocket tools, or
even an 8 oz. soda can. The M-2 Waistpack can be used as a stand-alone
belt pouch or can be integrated to ALICE or MOLLE type webbing using a
pair of Short Malice Clips (sold separately, see below). The Maxpedition
M-2 Waistpack is a great companion to the
Fatboy,
Fatboy S-Type,
Jumbo Versipack, Jumbo S-Type, or Proteus!
Like all MAXPEDITION Gear, the
M2 is superiorly constructed using Dupont Teflon-treated 1000-Denier nylon fabric, Duraflex nylon hardware, YKK#10 high strength zippers, 550 paracord knot pulls and double stitching with composite nylon thread.

Review:

TwoWolvesTested: We
were off to the Caverns and I did not want to carry a purse there.
However, I did need my wallet, keys, phone, multi-tool, comb, lip balm...
you know. So I put a khaki M-2 on my Liger belt and packed it with
the above mentioned items. Also on my Liger belt was the trusty
Inova flashlight in the corresponding Maxpedition 4" Tube Sheath (don't
visit caverns tours without your own flashlight!). We had a great
time and I had both hands free to use my flashlight, grip the railing on
slippery steps and snag the collar of my too enthusiastic child. I
had everything I needed (and a couple of things I didn't) carried quite
comfortably and easily accessible. My Maxpedition M-2 is my
favorite accessory now, either on my Liger belt or on the waistband of my
Proteus.
If you do not have a Liger Belt
or an M-2, what are you waiting for?
