NALGENE NEWS
(April 18, 2008) – In response to consumer demand, Nalgene® will phase out production of its Outdoor line of polycarbonate containers that include the chemical Bisphenol-A (BPA) over the next several months, it announced today. Nalgene’s existing product mix, including the recently launched Everyday line, already features a number of containers made from materials that do not contain BPA.
Nalgene is the new distributor of the Guyot Design Stainless Steel Bottles. Availability is expected to improve under this new business arrangement.

The Nalgene outdoor bottle is made of super-tough Polycarbonate with an attached loop-top cap that won't come loose. The side is marked with graduations for easy measuring. The large wide-mouth opening easily accommodates ice cubes, fits most water purifiers and makes cleaning a breeze. It is extremely impact resistant even at sub-freezing temperatures and is dishwasher safe in the top rack as long as it does not come into contact with the heating element.
The graduated measurement marks on the Nalgene bottle are perfect for measuring water to prepare a Mountain House meal. 8 oz = 1 cup.
