Maxpedition Fatboy and Anemone at the Franklin Mountains.

by Jeremy Garcia

Jeremy Garcia of the United States Army purchased a Maxpedition Fatboy / Anemone / M-1 combination
in OD Green.  He was nice enough to send us pictures and a review.   This is his story.

..the first thing I did was to take it on a trek across the entire length of a trail here in the Franklin Mountains called Smugglers Trail.  The highest peak is close to 6000ft elevation.

It held up great.  I wore the Fatboy with the Anemone.  I left the M-1 off for the hike because of the size.  I didn't know it was going to be that big!

But the pack did great. It rode comfortably, and it held quite a bit of kit.  I had 3 water bottles, my Gerber tool, about 150 feet of 550 cord, 2 D-rings on the outside, some snacks, GPS, digital camera, and a few other items.
