The Maxpedition Thermite Versipack
exploded onto center stage in the spring of 2003 as the flagship model of
what is now Maxpedition's best-selling Versipack line. This revolutionary
new multi-functional bag, designed either to be worn on the waist with a
supporting leg strap or shoulder slung, made way for a new genre in tactical
nylon: everyday hard-use gear.
The Thermite has one main compartment
equipped with a water-resistant storm collar which can be cinched closed and
a zippered frontal compartment for PDA and other accessories. The Thermite
has an immediate access, integral sheath with adjustable lid on each side
for flashlight, multi-tool, pepper spray, pocket knife, extra mags, ect.
MAXPEDITION has increased the elasticity
and comfort of the removable leg strap and has upgraded the rear mesh cover
to a 4-layer high-breathability sandwich material for cooler extended wear.
All Thermite Versipacks are also now ambidextrous!
The
Maxpedition Thermite is extremely comfortable for men and women alike, amazingly versatile and attractive to carry. Its secure carry and compartments make it an excellent pack while on vacation, touring the strip, hitting the theme parks. It is the perfect companion on the job, in the field, down the road, up the trail, in the woods, on the mountain, wherever you go!

Customer Review:
Thermite helps Puckett
family enjoy parks!
We used the
Thermite on our trip to Disney World in the fall 2006. Dwayne wore it with
a Mini Rollypoly that carried his Nalgene. It was great in that it carried
the daughter’s autograph book, the first aide kit, the wipes for keeping
hands clean, the camera, Dwayne’s cell phone, glow sticks, snacks and drink
mix, just to name some of the things that we stuck in there. While everyone
had a belt bag to wear, the Thermite was the hands down winner in amount
carried and comfort of carry.
Once we got
home from Disney the Thermite became the preferred pack for every park we
hit. Living in San Antonio means lots of parks. We have a Sea World, Six
Flags, Zoo, and caves just as a start. The Thermite is used at all of
them. Most times we carry the Thermite with a Mini Rollypoly for the
Nalgene. Sometime we even add another Rollypoly for carrying lunch. It’s
great because it can be worn over the shoulder (Dwayne’s preferred way) or
around the waist (Stacy’s preferred way). We are able to carry all the
needs (wipes, first aide, snacks, and drinks) for a family of three
(including 8 year old child) and still have free hands (for grabbing that
child).
